RE: Tribal Sovereignty

URGENT MESSAGE!!! We are faxing a copy of a letter that was sent to our Tribal Chairman, Harold Salway, from the Assistant Secretary of the Interior, Kevin Gover on this date.

We need your input and response ASAP as the contents of this letter affects our Tribal Sovereignty. Our Tribal Sovereignty is under siege by the Assistant Secretary micromanaging internal tribal disputes dealing with the administration process and the Tribes need to be aware of once again of BIA interference of contract relationship and trust responsibility. History has always revealed that the BIA involvement and interference has caused the erosion of tribal sovereignty and mismanagement of tribal land and resources and service delivery.

Contents of the letter as stated by Kevin Gover is premature because the issues have not gone through the court process.
